Max the wanna-be human lap dog

This is my nosey dog, Max, who goes back & forth between believing he is human and believing he is a lap dog.

Would someone please tell him the truth - that he is neither of those things (ESPECIALLY a lap dog?!!) ? I just can't bring myself to hurt his little precious doggy feelings.

NKOTB STILL ROCK!!!!!!!!!

Ok... so it is exactly one week, 16 hours & 5 minutes post NKOTB and I am STILL reeling!! The concert was honestly one of the best I have EVER been to... I still get goosebumps thinking about it!

Lady GaGa took the stage first. We all LOVED her (& I know at least 2 of us have added her to our iPod's since the concert!).

Next up was Natasha Bedingfield... AWESOME!! "I've got a pocket, got a pocket full of sunshine..."

And then NKOTB! I knew it would be fun no matter what, but when they came out on stage I reverted back to the ripe age of 14 by jumping up & down, grabbing on to Holly and SCREAMING my lungs out! It was A M A Z I N G!!!! They were on stage for 2 hours and I loved every minute of it.
Even though I won't go into details about how many pennies we spent... let me just say it was worth EVERY LAST ONE!!

Mexican Food & Dairy Queen!

What is it about Mexican food that is so dang good you just can't get enough of it? A vendor (ok - not just any vendor but our FAVORITE vendor named Liz) came by the office today & she & her boss, Susan, took us out to lunch. I have been trying to be good... but I could NOT stop eating the chips... and then I just HAD to go & devour the ENTIRE entree...
NO WONDER I HAVE SUCH WEIGHT ISSUES!!!
And then to top it off, tonight Holly called on her way to my house so I had her stop by DQ & get me a blizzard!! MEDIUM!
Geez Louise... it is a never ending battle! I am such a loser!!!

Reading

Thanks to Holly, I have read a couple of really good books lately. First it was "Something Borrowed" and then it was "Baby Proof". I cannot wait to read another of Emily Giffin's books! You should check them out too... even if you're like me & don't usually read! :)

What was I thinking??

I just want to say I hate having garage sales because I am a procrastinator & always wait until the very last minute to start getting my stuff together.
I was up until 1:30 am working on stuff for the sale. Then Trey came home at 5:15 am & I have pretty much been up since. Now tonight I will be have to be up late again & THEN I have to get up early tomorrow morning to have the sale. Beware garage salers because I will be a big ole GROUCH!
What was I thinking!?!?
